Print the Stencil:

Make sure to choose the size that best fits your needs. I have included a small stencil with front and back paws, a medium back paw only, and a larger front and back paw print to customize which size of printable bunny footprints you would like to create.

Cut Out the Stencil:

Carefully cut out the stencil along the black lines using an exacto knife or scissors. Take your time to ensure clean and precise cuts cut the stencil out on a cutting mat or a foam core board from the dollar tree. I only cut out the three toes and the back of the paws, but not the outline. You can cut out the outline, but I prefer to leave the prints attached to the page. It is easier to move when making the footprints.

Prepare the Surface:

Choose the area where you want to create the bunny footprints. It could be your garden, living room, or any other space you desire. Make sure the surface is clean and free from any debris. I used this stencil on hard floors and carpets. Both worked equally good.

Sprinkle Flour:

Lay the stencil on the floor and sprinkle flour or any other white powder over it. Use enough flour to create a visible footprint, but not too much that it becomes messy. I used a flour sifter/strainer to limit the amount of flour falling on the stencil. Gently lift the stencil to reveal the bunny footprint for the best results do this with proper care. I had one that got messed up because I did not use both hands to carefully lift up the stencil. After lifting up the stencil, clean the flour off and set it again to make your next set of little easter bunny feet.

Repeat:

Continue the flour process over and over again to make your own DIY Easter bunny tracks.

Variations for Using the Printable:

Easter Egg Hunt: Create a fun Easter egg hunt by incorporating the bunny footprints into the game. Place the footprints strategically to lead the children to hidden Easter eggs. It adds an extra layer of excitement and adventure to the traditional egg hunt. You can use the flour on certain areas outdoors, but another option to make little bunny tracks on the grass is to use spray paint on the grass.

Surprise Visits: If you have young children, surprise them by creating bunny footprints leading from their bedrooms or front door to the living room where their Easter baskets await. It’s a magical way to start the day and create lasting memories.
