Disney Inspired Cinderella Pumpkin Stencil Free Printable

Halloween is hands down one of my favorite seasons, you know? This year I made a free printable stencil just for you, inspired by everyone’s favorite glass-slipper girl (and honestly, one of my all time favorite princesses from when I was a little girl). It’s simple, it’s sweet, and it turns any plain old pumpkin into something a little magical. Grab your carving tools, and let’s get started! 🎃

What Is This Free Printable?

This printable is a black-and-white stencil of Cinderella’s face, inspired by the classic Disney cartoon we all grew up watching. It’s designed for personal use, so you can print it as many times as you need for your own home. Once you download the digital files, you simply print, cut, and carve. No fancy skills required, and no expensive carving kits either.

I love adding a favorite character to our porch every October. There’s something about seeing a beloved face glowing on the front steps that makes the whole neighborhood smile.

Why You’ll Love This Cinderella Stencil

First off, this is such a fun way to get the kids involved in Halloween prep. The design keeps things simple, with small holes and clean lines that are easy to follow, even if you’ve never carved a pumpkin in your life (I’ve got you covered with a full tutorial right here). You don’t need to be an artist. You just need a printout, a pumpkin, and a little patience. Honestly, that’s the whole beauty of it.

Second, it adds a touch of Disney magic to your holiday decor without a lot of extra work. Kids who love Disney princesses light up when they see one of their favorite Disney characters glowing on the porch. It turns an ordinary Halloween pumpkin into a Halloween decoration your whole family will be proud of, and that’s a win in my book.

How to Use the Cinderella Pumpkin Carving Template

Using this stencil is easier than you’d think, and here’s how to do it step by step. To download, head to the end of the post and enter your name and email address in the dark green download box. The PDF File will be sent directly to your inbox to print!

First, check your printer settings and print the stencil at full size. Cut around the design, then tape it onto your pumpkin. Next, use a dull pencil point or ballpoint pen to poke small dots along every line of the pattern. This transfers the design right onto the pumpkin skin, which makes carving so much simpler.

After that, remove the paper and start carving along your dotted lines. Work from the center of your design outward, and take your time on the details around the eyes and hair. Carving into the flesh side of the piece? Go slow so thinner areas don’t crack. A dremel tool works great for small holes, though a basic carving knife works fine too.

Once you’re done, pop a candle inside and watch that pumpkin glow come to life on your porch.

Best Knives for Pumpkin Carving (a Pumpkin Carving Kit):

These kits typically include a variety of tools such as serrated saws, scoops, and etching tools. They are specifically designed for pumpkin carving, making them safer and more effective than regular kitchen knives.

Serrated Knife:

A small, serrated sharp knife is perfect for cutting through the tough skin of the pumpkin. Ensure it’s sharp to make clean cuts and precise shapes.

Scoop or Spoon:

A sturdy scoop, ice cream scoop, or large spoon helps in removing the seeds and pulp from inside of the pumpkin. Look for one with a comfortable handle and a sharp edge for scraping the sides clean.

Scooping Glove:

This is a cool tool to clean out pumpkin guts without having to actually touch them with your hands! My least favorite part of carving pumpkins. With this glove you can easily scrap out the insides of a pumpkin.

Punch Tools:

These are used to mark your design onto the pumpkin before carving. You can use a simple pushpin or buy specialized tools that come with carving kits. I’ve even used a ball point pen in a pinch. All you need is to be able to make a small hole as a guide for your knife.

Small Paring Knife:

For intricate details and fine lines, a small paring knife or an X-Acto knife is ideal. It allows for more control when carving delicate features.

Drill with Bits:

For more advanced designs, a drill with different-sized bits can help create perfect circles and unique textures on your pumpkin. A drill can also be handy for cleaning out the inside of a pumpkin. attach a electric hand mixer beater to the drill and use it to scrap the insides clean.

Tea Lights

After you carve the best pumpkin, you will want to light it up. Instead of lighting a candle inside consider a battery operated tea light for a pumpkin light. You can even find ones that flicker for the traditional candle effect.

Dry Erase Marker or Sharpie:

After punching holes you can use a marker to connect dots to ensure precise cuts to your pumpkin stencils.
