Around our house, we drink a lot of water, but sometimes we like to mix it up a bit. With such beautiful weather, we have been experimenting with new drink recipes. One of the winners is Blueberry Lemonade! Made with fresh blueberries and lemonade makes it super delicious.
Last year, I created a peach lemonade recipe. It was awesome! I was at the grocery store and saw a bunch of big juicy blueberries. They called to me. I kept walking through the produce and saw the bright and sunny lemons. They were a match made in heaven. I was very excited to get home and try a new lemonade recipe.
I used my food chopper to mash up the blueberries. It worked great so that the blueberries added the flavor but they weren’t large chunks. If fruit chunks were desired, it would be best to mash blueberries with forks.
It has been lovely to sit out on our porch with a glass of blueberry lemonade and sit it while the sun goes down. I am so glad that the weather is finally warming up enough that I can actually enjoy sitting outside with a cool drink.
