DIY Crate Bookcase

I recently shared this super fun tutorial to make your own DIY Crate Bookcase at Simply Designing.

It is a great way to add color to a very neutral room on a budget. This project cost me total of $35.

I added lots of little touches to make it really colorful and fun. The top had some summery green flowers and vases. On the top shelf I put a yellow frame and aqua dish with decorative balls.

  2. This is a great project. I’ve seen those crates at Michael’s and thought about getting some. I think I’d need to attach them, as I’ve got a lot of rambunctious boys in my house!
