It’s official! I am going on a diet. Wait maybe not a diet a healthy lifestyle. Trying to incorporate more healthy things into my diet and lose a few pounds. So in honor of that decision, I’ve brought you 20 healthy recipes!

I’ve never been a big oatmeal girl. Soggy = gross. I’d try and eat it but just couldn’t get past the texture, until I tried steel cut oats. I especially love this recipe from Jamie Cooks it Up. Find the recipe for Jamie Cooks it Up’s Slim Down Steel Cut Oats with Blueberries.

Another breakfast I love to make smoothies. This is a recipe similar to the one I make called a Wake Up Smoothie!



Many Sunday afternoons, my dad would make up omelets for everyone. I love them, I’m still trying to perfect the actual making of the omelet. Here is a nice and easy and helpful recipe for a Cheese Omelet from Chef In You. 


I love a good salad that is full of vegetables and beans. I can’t wait to try this great recipe for a Cucumber & Black Eye Pea Salad from Eating Well. I might add some chicken, yum!


Oh yum! Mediterranean Turkey Wraps from Iowa Girls Eats looks delicious and it is a quick fix!


I love pizza. It is always good. Breakfast, dinner, lunch and so for a little twist I’m trying this Pesto and White Bean Pizza.


Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps are one of my favorite things. I love to go out for someone to make them for me, but I will have to try and make them myself with this recipe from Better Homes & Gardens.



Another favorite comfort food is Chicken Alfredo! And the fabulous Six Sisters’ have a great Guiltless Chicken Alfredo recipe.

Pork Chops are always a great stand by, especially when they are seasoned with Rosemary. Find the recipe for Rosemary Pork Chops over at The Gracious Pantry.


If you are in need of a snack or a protein boost and you love some cake, try this Cake Batter Protein Shake at The Dashing Dish.


 Some how skewers make things more fun to eat. Rachel Ray came of with this great Fruit & Cheese Sticks for a snake.



One last snack I want to share with you is Parmesan Dill Popcorn. I love dill and popcorn it will be a funky fun recipe to try.
