Luke Skywalker Paper Plate Craft Tutorial

How to make a paper plate look like Luke Skywalker using paper, paint and paper plates.

Materials

  • Paper plate
  • Scissors
  • Construction paper yellow or light brown
  • Glue
  • Peach paint
  • Markers black and white

Instructions

  • Paint the paper plate peach and let it dry. Trace the template on the paper plate and cut it out.

  • Cut and trace the other templates and trace them onto black for the eyes, ears out of the painted paper plate scraps, and the hair out of light brown or yellow.

  • Attach the hair piece by gluing to the front and back of the paper plate with the paper plate being inserted into the opening in the middle..

  • Attach the eyes with glue.
  • Attach the ears on each side using glue.
  • Draw a smile with a black marker and add highlights to the eyes with a white marker.

Notes

If you don't have enough paper plate scraps to cut the ear templates out of, paint another paper plate peach. Let dry, trace ear pieces, and cut out.
