Ingredients
2cpretzel twists
½cred candy melts
¼cwhite fondant
Green food coloring
Instructions
Prep your work surface with a sheet of parchment.
Tint the white fondant with the green food coloring - we recommend using gloves to prevent tinting your hands.
Pinch off a small piece and shape into a triangular leaf shape. Set aside until ready to assemble. Make one fondant leaf for each apple pretzel.
When ready to assemble - melt the red candy melts. Melt in 30 second increments, until smooth when stirring.
Dip the entire pretzel into the melted red candy melts and coat thoroughly. Using a fork, scoop the pretzel out and tap the excess on the side of the bowl.
Place the dipped pretzel on the parchment and immediately place the fondant leaf. Repeat with remaining pretzels.
Allow to set until hardened, about 10 minutes.
Notes
