Ingredients

  • 2 c pretzel twists
  • ½ c red candy melts
  • ¼ c white fondant
  • Green food coloring

Instructions

  • Prep your work surface with a sheet of parchment.
  • Tint the white fondant with the green food coloring - we recommend using gloves to prevent tinting your hands.
    Tint white fondant green
  • Pinch off a small piece and shape into a triangular leaf shape. Set aside until ready to assemble. Make one fondant leaf for each apple pretzel.
  • When ready to assemble - melt the red candy melts. Melt in 30 second increments, until smooth when stirring.
  • Dip the entire pretzel into the melted red candy melts and coat thoroughly. Using a fork, scoop the pretzel out and tap the excess on the side of the bowl.
  • Place the dipped pretzel on the parchment and immediately place the fondant leaf. Repeat with remaining pretzels.
Dip pretzels in red melted chocolate and add leaves before chocolate sets
  • Allow to set until hardened, about 10 minutes.
