It’s time to get excited for St. Patrick’s Day with this fun and simple game that you can print off at home. Try this fun printable St. Patrick’s Don’t Eat Pete game.

This game can always be played with any small candies, but to go with the St. Patty’s holiday theme, I thought it would be fun to do gold coins (affiliate link), or green jelly beans (affiliate link), or even any green small candy you can find. Later this week look for my St. Patrick’s Day Dessert board that will feature a bunch of green themed candy ideas that could be used with this game board too.
How do you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? I love to go all in because I love green! So I dress my kids in green (and me), then we usually have some green food and this year, we will be playing this St. Patrick’s Don’t Eat Pete game too!
St. Patrick’s Day DON’T EAT PETE INSTRUCTIONS
Place a piece of candy on each of the shamrock on the printable. Send one person out of the room. Everyone left in the room picks one of the shamrocks to be “Pete.” Call the person back into the room. They start to remove the candies from a space one at a time. Keeping the ones they remove until they try to take “Pete.” As they try to take “Pete”, yell “Don’t Eat Pete!” Replace “Pete” on the board. When they try to take “Pete” the round is over. The chooser keeps the candies they removed before getting “Pete.” Refill the board and send the next person out. Pick a new “Pete” on the board. Play until all the candy is gone!!! Or until everyone has had a turn.
