Banana Cake
A heavenly cake that will use up those ripe bananas.

small/medium ripe/overripe bananas

shortening

milk

baking soda

teaspoon

Frosting

powdered sugar

cup
butter
1 1/2
teaspoons
vanilla

milk
Instructions
Cake
Heat oven to 350°F.
Spray 9x13 pan with nonstick spray or grease with butter and flour.
Beat all ingredients in a large bowl on low speed, scraping sides constantly for 30 seconds.
Beat on high speed for 3 minutes, occasionally scraping sides.
Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Cool completely.
Frosting
Mix powdered sugar and butter with a mixer.
Stir in vanilla and milk.
Beat until a smooth spreading consistency.
