Valentine’s Day Saltine Toffee “Crack”

Ingredients

  • 1 Sleeve of saltine crackers
  • 1 C Butter 2 sticks
  • 1 C Packed Brown Sugar
  • 1 Bag White Candy Melts
  • 1/2 Bag Red Candy Melts
  • 1/2 Bag Pink Candy Melts
  • Valentine Inspired Sprinkles red/pink/white

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  • Prepare a cookie sheet with aluminum foil, set aside.
  • On the prepared cookie sheet place saltine crackers in a single line, covering the whole cookie sheet.
  • In a medium saucepan add butter and brown sugar. Over medium heat bring to a boil, stirring frequently, for 3-4 minutes.
  • Pour toffee mixture over the prepared saltines.
  • Place in the oven for 8 minutes.
  • While the saltines are in the oven, begin to melt the white candy melts according to the directions on the bag.
  • Once the saltines are out of the oven, cover the toffee covered saltines with the white melted candies.
  • Melt the pink and red candy melts in two seperate bowls according to the directions on the bag.
  • Spread the pink and red candy melts over the white candy melts.
  • Add Valentine’s Day sprinkles. Place in the refrigerator for 2 hours to set. Break apart into pieces.
