Free Printable LDS Scripture & Hymn Advent Calendar for the holiday season

Did you see the scripture and question advent calendar I shared yesterday? If you want something a little different than that one, today I’m sharing a Christmas scripture and carol advent calendar today for day three of 12 days of Christmas printables. I hope you are enjoying it. I’ve got a lot more fun, cute and touching printables to come.

What is it?

I found this gem in my mom’s Christmas file from another one of those almost chain-like forwarded emails. You know the ones with stories, jokes, etc. that would be sent from friend to friend to friend. From December 1st to the 24th, this scripture and carol advent calendar includes a scripture and Christmas song from the King James Version of the Bible and the Book of Mormon. Some are hymns, some are children’s primary songs. The songs can be searched for my name here.

This is a great way to enjoy the songs of the season and have a little spiritual moment in this month devoted to celebrating the birth of the Savior. Taking a moment each day to reflect on Him and His life is a great way to stay in the holiday spirit.

  • Printer: I love my HP Home Printer, it prints beautifully everytime no matter what projects I am working on.
  • Paper: Depending on the durability you want with your printables, consider printing on white card stock or high quality paper.
  • Laminator: For printables you are planning to use over and over again, simply laminate and use dry erase markers to mark up the printables.
  • Paper Cutter: I love my CARL Paper Cutter. It makes trimming and cutting out printables a breeze.
  • Sticker Paper: When printing tags or other free printables, sticker paper can make it easy to attach to gifts, boxes, or to make your own stickers.
  • Cutting Supplies: You’ll want a great pair of paper cutting scissors and I love using an Xacto Knife for intricate details.
  • Pens and Coloring Supplies: Here are some of my favorite writing tools for pencils and pens. Coloring supplies that I love to use in my own home: colored pencils, crayons, markers for adults, and markers for kids.
