Rose & Thorn

Author: Sarah Prineas

Extreme Book Nerd Challenge Category: A book by an author you’ve never read before

Funny story, I received this book as a gift and just jumped right on in, but let me tell you I was slightly confused by the story the entire time. I kind of got it, but at times I’d just not understand what in the world was going on, until now. As I was researching to a little on Amazon about this book, I found out this is book two in the Ash & Bramble series. I think they can sort of stand alone, but it usually helps to read the first book a series first. I’m doing this one a little bit backwards, but I will read the first book and report back in a couple weeks!

On to this story. I am always up for a fairy tale with a twist. This one was very interesting to see it play out (even though I was confused). See whether or not the characters in this story can defeat Story. Story has a plan to use the characters in this book to get what he wants, but will they defeat him? Find out how they plan to combat him and restore peace to their lives.

Please check back soon for more about the first book!
