No-Sew Plaid Bow Ornament DIY
Learn how to make no-sew Christmas bow ornament in a few steps. So easy, so pretty. Perfect quick craft project for Christmas.

Happy after Thanksgiving! I enjoyed the food, hope you did too! Now it is time to get into full Christmas decorating mode! Have you noticed all the beautiful plaids around lately (especially at Target)??? I have fallen for the plaid. This year I might add some plaid to my Christmas tree in a simple way with these easy plaid bow ornaments. I didn’t know I was so into bows until my little baby came along. Love, love bows, but they aren’t just for little girls anymore! Dress up a tree full of them. Plus, they are no sew!

Supplies
What you will need for these adorable plaid bow ornaments:
- plaid fabric (or any color or pattern)
- twine
- hot glue gun and glue
- scissors
- decorative trim

How to Make the Bow Ornament

- Start by cutting out a rectangle of fabric (mine was about 6 inches by 12 inches). Any size will work and a variety of sizes would look beautiful on a tree.
- Fold the two long sides in an inch each.
- Then fold in thirds with a little bit overlapping.
- Tie twine around the middle of the folds to form the bow. Make sure to knot it and tie it tight.

- Tie a thicker piece of twin around the middle of the bow and knot at the top to form a loop to hang the ornament on the tree.
- Cut a small piece of trim to fit around the middle of the bow to hide the twine.
- Use hot glue to secure the trim on the back of the bow.
- Let glue dry and hang your bow from the tree.

I love how it turned out. The red plaid will look perfect against the green of a tree or pop out when decorating a white tree.
