If you are anything like me, and maybe even if you aren’t, then you love pretty things. Am I right? I love when things can be pretty and functional. Just because something serves a purpose doesn’t mean it can’t be colorful or exciting. Something like let’s say post-it notes. I use these constantly. At home, at work, and every where in between. So when I found out the new Amy Tangerine Plus One collection was coming out, I knew that it was a match made in heaven.
What is the Amy Tangerine Plus One? It is an awesome paper crafting collection that is super modern and fun. The Amy Tangerine Plus One paper collection will be come out on HSN on March 24 (next week my friends).
This collection was so popular when it was debuted in early 2014 it sold out like crazy.
What is even better you can choose between five discounted bundle kits at just under $20. That is less than a date to the movies, or a new pair of shoes. Choose between a basic kit, an embroidery kit, an embellishment kit and a stamping kit.
And for all your Project Life people, the mini kit will be available at a discount! Sweet!
Head over to HSN to get your own adorable Amy Tangerine Plus One kits!
Let’s make these fabulous Post-It Note Covers!
What you will need:
- Plus One paper
- 3 x 3 inch post-it note pad
- Plus One embellishments
- hot glue gun and glue
- sticky back velcro
Start by picking your favorite paper from the Plus One collection (this is the hardest part of this project)!
Cut the paper to 3 x 9 inches (for a 3 x 3 pad).
Fold the paper around the pad and crease the folds really well (I used my finger nails to get it nice and creased).
Using hot glue, glue the pad down to the middle section of the paper.
Cut off any excess on the top flap. I cut mine following the pattern to make it a scalloped edge. Or use fancy scissors to cut off excess on top flap.
Use sticky back velcro to make the flap stick. Start by sticking the rough side on the bottom flap. Once it is in place, remove the back from the soft side and stick it to the rough side. Close the top paper flap to stick it to the piece of velcro.
Now the fun part comes in, embellishing! There are so many great embellishments in the Amy Tangerine Plus One collection. Some of my favorites were the skinny washi tape, brads and rub-ons.
Let me just tell you of my love for the rub-ons. Okay, okay I love, love, love this “Rather Forget This” one, because most of the time, I would rather forget things on my to-do list! Seemed appropriate to put in my little to-do list notebook cover.
Embellish the crap out of these cute little covers. Mine ended up with embellishments inside and out.
And the stamps are killing me. I loved the idea to add the “Remember” stamp to each page of my post-its. Such a cute and fun personal touch.
I had a rough time picking out which papers to use. I wanted to use every single one, but the feathers are to die for. I love them. It is so simple, yet so modern.
Now I am pretty and functional with my super cute post-it note covers, and so can you.
Don’t forget to get your Amy Tangerine Plus One kits on Monday, here.
Go check them out and come back to tell me what you are dying to get your hands on!

Okay – These are just too cute. I love the rather forget this rub on and the remember stamp especially. Perfect!
