Before I had kids, I was pretty put together. I loved to find the perfect accessories for my outfit each day. Now I’ve had to simplify and streamline my accessories. To do this I pick versatile and timeless pieces, like my new favorite wood watch by Jord.
When looking for this watch, I wanted something that would go with a lot of other pieces and outfits, but that wasn’t too neutral. That is what is great about the emerald watch face. Green is my favorite color and it goes with a lot of other colors and styles. The craftsmanship is amazing on this piece. It is so lovely that it is all made out of beautiful wood. Another unique touch to add to your outfit.
This watch can be dressed up for when I head to church or date night. Or it can be perfect with my everyday momiform of jeans and a cute tee. Here are a couple of examples of how I’ve worn it.
I love to stack this watch with some of my favorite bracelets. It adds a bit of a wow factor to the quality of this gorgeous watch. There are so many ways to do this. I used a golden bangle and a floral one. Cute, simple, fun. Or if you love a more bohemian look, add a friendship bracelet or beaded bracelet or two.
Or when I’m trying to keep things classy, I’ll go minimal and just wear the watch alone. Sometimes it seems like watches are a thing of the past with cell phone technology, but I do not believe this. There are so many times when I don’t have my phone with me or I’m trying to be more present with my family, so I turn it off. It is always easy to check the time when I’m putting down the baby or running errands with this watch, it really is handy and probably is the reason why wrist watches were invented.
