Happy October Friends! I think that means it is officially time to eat all of the pumpkin things. My favorite is pumpkin bread or even better pumpkin chocolate chip muffins! These are the perfect balance of pumpkin and chocolate. Oh yum! You’ll want to make these and enjoy with a glass of cold milk.
This is my mom’s recipe that I’ve enjoyed growing up and I’ll still take them if she makes them for me. But now I make them for my kids too. Who will eat anything with a couple of chocolate chips sprinkled inside.
I want to say that fall is my favorite season because, it’s cooling off, the fun holidays, the great harvest of foods, but I really love all the seasons. They each hold their own fun holidays or experiences and having four different seasons really helps me to appreciate each and every one.

What is your favorite fall treat???
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup pumpkin
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 cup of chocolate chips
- Mix all together in a medium bowl.
- Bake in muffin tin lined with liners at 350 Degrees for 25 minutes or until tooth pick inserted comes out clean.
- Remove from pan to cooling rack.
