Talking as Fast as I Can

Author: Lauren Graham

Extreme Book Nerd Challenge Category: A nonfiction book

I love Gilmore Girls and Parenthood. So you can see why I wanted to read this book! I really think Lauren Graham plays the part of Lorelei so well because she is really similar to her in real life. The book could be considered a book of essays as each chapter tells its own story which is fun. I laughed out loud in many places and really felt like I was one of Lauren’s best friends. Plus, she seems pretty down to earth for someone who is famous!

Follow along with Lauren as she struggles to become an actress and then her journey through both Gilmore Girls. This is a fun read. I picked it after The Giver Quartet, because I needed something that wasn’t a novel. I was still stuck in that world, but this was a fun little piece of real life (although it was still someone else’s life). So if you’ve been thinking of reading Talking as Fast as I Can or if you like Gilmore Girls at all, pick it up and let me know what you think!
