Extreme Book Nerd Challenge Category: A book with magic in it

We are Harry Potter lovers in this house, but can you believe I hadn’t read this book yet. We’ve all be sorted into our houses. I’m a proud Gryffindor, the Mr. is a loyal Hufflepuff. I know crazy that I haven’t read it yet. Well I’ve had it for years and I finally read it. It is a great companion read to the seventh book in the Harry Potter Series, because it contains the story of The Deathly Hallows.

The book is broken down into short wizard fairy tales. They teach lessons and are simple to read. If you are looking for a light read and a little more of the magic of the Harry Potter world, grab this book ASAP. I could have easily finished the book in a day but I took a couple days to fully enjoy it. Now I’m just waiting out my time until I get to go to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter this summer. Have you been? What was your favorite part?

If you’ve read The Tales of Beedle the Bard, what did you think?

  1. We went to Harry Potter World at Universal Studios last summer. It was pretty cool. Get some Butterbeer to enjoy while waiting in line at the wand shop. 😉 What ever Harry Potter experience you have will be magical!
