Halloween Don’t Eat Pete
I am getting pretty excited for Halloween. It is always a fun holiday to celebrate and an even more fun holiday to decorate for. Luckily, Alli from Cupcakes Diaries is hosting a fun series all September long! To celebrate and play along, I’m sharing one of my favorite games, Don’t Eat Pete. Halloween Don’t Eat Pete.
Don’t Eat Pete is a great party or family game for kids (or adults). Use any small candy as an incentive and print off the board. Get ready for lots of Halloween fun.
I especially love using Skittles. the ones in the purple bag seem more halloween colored to me, but anything will do (M&M’s were the traditional candy I used growing up). Candy corn might be fun and more fitting for the holiday.
Have a wonderful Halloween party with this great game!
Don’t Eat Pete Instructions: Place a piece of candy on each of the balloons on the printable. Send one person out of the room. Everyone left in the room picks one of the balloons to be “Pete.” Call the person back into the room. They start to remove the candies one at a time. Keeping the ones they remove until they try to take “Pete.” As they try to take “Pete”, yell “Don’t Eat Pete!” Replace “Pete” on the board. When they try to take “Pete” the round is over. The chooser keeps the candies that they removed before getting “Pete.” Refill the board and send the next person out. Pick a new “Pete” on the board. Play until all the candy is gone!!! Or until everyone has had a turn.
