Steps to creating a No Sew Patriotic Banner

  1. Cut out as many pendants as you want in varying colors of fabric.
  2. Embellish pendants (I glued on stripes, painted on “USA” and made a burlap knot)
  3. Create or use a ribbon to glue pendants on to (I used red and blue ric rac and braided it sort of)
  4. Glue pendants to the ric rac or ribbon
  5. Let dry
  6. Put the No Sew Patriotic banner to use and decorate

I used a really cool paint like marker to draw on the “USA” and star. It was so easy. I love how it adds a whimsical touch through using my own handwriting.

The pendant with the white and red stripes was so easy. I just cut out the white pendant and glued on the red ribbon. I think the ribbon with the white stitching gives it sewn look without actually having to sew!

I am in love with all the different shades of red and blue for this no sew patriotic banner. It is fun to mix the patterns and embellishments. Makes me want to buy fireworks and cook s’mores.

For two of the pendants I used different star patterned fabric. The patterns give a great dimension to the no sew patriotic banner. Plus, they are super easy!

The last pendant I created was just a red pendant with a navy burlap knot and glued it to the center.
