DIY Painted Vintage Bottle

My mom has been cleaning out her house and has found some great stuff, like these adorable blueish vintage bottles. I wanted to spice them up with some gold metallic paint. Here is what I came up with!DIY Painted Vintage Bottle at www.thebensonstreet.com #DIY #vintage #bottleYou will need:

  • vintage bottle
  • painters tape
  • metallic paint (I used Martha Stewart Craft paint in Gold)
  • sponge paint brush
  • Baker’s Twine (I got mine from Pick Your Plum)

Let it dry for a good hour and paint a second coat. Make sure the paint is completely dry. Repeat until the coverage is to your likeness.

Painting on the glass can be tricky, that is why it is important to do a light coat each time and let it dry. If it isn’t completely dry then the paint will wipe right off.
