Felt Heart Table Runner {Tutorial}

For a while now, I have wanted to create a table runner with hearts. This one was super easy and I loved how it turned out. So let’s get started on the Felt Heart Table Runner {Tutorial}.

Felt Heart Table Runner10What you will need for the Felt Heart Table Runner {Tutorial}:

  • 6-8 sheets of red felt
  • hot glue & glue gun
  • heart shapes-one small, one large
  • Good Scissors

Start by tracing your hearts on your felt. I wanted a heart cut out in the center of my large hearts so I traced the large heart first, then traced a smaller one inside. I used two rows of 10 large hearts and nine small hearts to connect the large hearts (this may vary depending on how big or small you want your table runner, and the size of your hearts).

Felt Heart Table Runner2When the hearts are all cut out, get ready to glue. I made to long heart strips first and then glued them together. Put a small drop of glue on the large heart, and then place the small heart on top. Repeat with the whole strip of 10 large hearts and nine small hearts.

I alternated between each one which heart would be the top heart.Felt Heart Table Runner5 Felt Heart Table Runner6Let the glue dry and adorn your table with love!
